Janet graduated from San Jose State with Bachelor's degrees in both Interior Design and Psychology. She is a professional member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Her work has been published in San Jose Magazine. Janet is proficient in both 20/20 and Pro-Kitchen design software. She also creates a range of hand drawings from rough sketches to highly detailed furniture, cabinet and tile designs.

Rick graduated from University of California Davis with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Rick began his career in residential construction in 1984 designing and building custom homes in the Emerald Hills area of Redwood City, California. Over the years, he has been a project coordinator, speculation homebuilder, general contractor, project manager, project consultant, home designer, and creator of construction plans.

Dillon graduated from The Art Institute of California in Sunnyvale, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production in 2010. He has been a designer and business partner for the past 5 years. His skills in Chief Architect as well as his eye for great design and excellent customer service make him a perfect fit for our team.

Rick creates addition, remodel, and/or new home designs and construction plans using Chief Architect design software. These designs can be e-mailed in picture or PDF format. Clients also enjoy coming to our offices to see their designs displayed in 3-D on our big-screen TV.
Rick is comfortable working with clients on any aspect of the design and construction process as needed. He can start at the conceptual beginnings, create designs, create construction plans, obtain engineering, obtain building permits, and manage all aspects of the construction or just consult.
Specializing in kitchen and bath remodels, Janet has been designing home interiors for 17 years. As a mother of two sons, she understands the need for practical and efficient uses of space, but also creates beautiful, sophisticated one-of-a-kind designs often using unique materials. Janet brings to each client a contagious enthusiasm that makes working with her lots of fun. She is respectful of each client's time, budget, and aesthetic preferences. Janet guides clients through the design process efficiently while making sure that they get the best quality for their money. Clients often remark that they are surprised how easy Janet makes the process while often saving them money. When project managing, Janet masterfully orchestrates the flow of subcontractors and materials. Her amazing attention to detail is both surprising and effective.
